Venture capital billionaire Marc Andreeseen has listed his longtime Northern California home for sale at $33.3 million. Reportedly built in the 1990s but extensively renovated by Andreessen and his wife since they first bought it in 2007, the property has five bedrooms, eight baths, a four-car garage and double kitchens in the main home. Hailing from Orange County and now living and working throughout Los Angeles for the last 12 years, Mary Dix and her hardworking team understand what makes Southern California and the people who call it home so special.

Churches, spiritual and personal development programs, schools, non-profits, community service organizations, healthcare organizations and others whose focus is consistent with our mission. There are four major universities and multiple community colleges, along with an abundance of trade schools. In addition to a vibrant business community, a major port and an international airport, there is a thriving tourist industry with major attractions including The San Diego Zoo, Sea World, and Lego Land. There are not many places in the world where you can wake up early, drive two hours to the local ski mountains, and drive home and surf at dusk. A home called Fieldhaven Estate that reportedly cost software billionaire David Duffield $135 million to build back in 2012 is currently on the market for $35 million in Alamo, California—about 30 miles east of San Francisco. The sprawling, 23,000-square-foot home is listed by Marilee Headen of Compass and Taso Tsako of Engel & Volkers and includes 10 bedrooms and 22 bathrooms with an oversized pool and solar field that powers the property.

This delightful 1886 Pasadena home is a charming example of the Folk Victorian style of architecture. These dollhouse like houses were much more functional than most Victorian styles, with family-friendly, regular floor plans and a lack of ornamentation—perfect for hardworking, everyday people. Yesterday, we heard that actor/comedian Andy Samberg and musician Joanna Newsom have purchased Moorcrest, the famed 1920s house where Mary Astor and Charlie Chaplin once lived. Today, thanks to the semi-secret listing site (hit cancel at the password prompt), we finally get a look inside the estate, and it is damn spectacular. We'd heard that the lavish residence combined several styles, from Moorish to Art Nouveau, but who could have imagined this? The large glass bubble visible in earlier aerial shots of the property is a beautiful, light-flooded atrium; the pool in the backyard is more like a movie set, with a little (man-made) cave and a stepping-stone path.

In a landmark move, we increased state support for school construction from $271 to $375 per square foot, amounting to a $79 million boost. This legislation, which I co-sponsored in the House, aims to address wealth inequities and the retirement savings crisis in Washington by providing a solution for the roughly 1.2 million workers who lack access to retirement plans. The bill establishes an automatic Individual Retirement Account (IRA) for those without employer-based systems, allowing for easy savings with low management fees.

Reflecting Americans’ belief in spirits unseen, some of the country’s first families held séances at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. They nursed their grief with the help of mediums, demonstrating that séances aren’t only about the deceased; they’re also about the living. The seller is listed as a trust, but it appears to be Andrew Meieran, the producer/nightlife guy who's slowly fixing up the Downtown Clifton's and also owns The Edison; we hear he put a lot of work into rehabbing the place before first listing it for sale in 2006.
During his free time, Andrew enjoys surfing, skiing, camping and being outside as much as possible. In 2013, Keri began her addiction treatment career here in Southern California, working with young adults and adolescents first as an overnight staff member and then as a case manager/program director. The 22,400-square-foot home includes 11 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms and sweeping views of downtown Aspen.
